understanding adsence

when you go to yout monetize section of your blog or your google adsence homepage you will see some abbreviations that may not make any sence to you so heres what they mean

eCPM - this means the "effective cost per thousand impressions" there for say we have a eCPM rate of % 6.00 you would make an estimated $6.00 if you get 1000 page impressions

CTR- the ctr is the "click through rate" this is calculated by the number of clicks (people who clicked on the add)  divided by the number of  impressions (times the add appeared)

Impressions - this simply means the number of times the add has appered to someone

clicks - this is how many times someone has clicked on an add

ad posting!

you have to be carefull when placing adds , you want to make sure that they draw attention without clashing to much ... you also want them to be visible at the top of your site to better your chances of getting clicks! if you check out the blog i have attatched http://nbatalks.blogspot.com/ you will notise how nice the colors go together it also has the best size and shape formats according to google! i would also suggest putting a google search bar at the top of your main page visitors can use this to search your blog and the web it is very a very usefull tool. thanks guys! if you have questions just leave them on the question page and i will answer them asap :) therevenueman

just a little trick

i found a cool little tool that will ping your site for free ....pinging is what makes higher search engine's recognize your site . go to pingler.com enter your site name  and your url and then hit ping and let it do all the work, i would suggest doing this more than once a day so i would wait till around mid day have a few new posts on your blog then use this tool .... your welcome

affiliat ads!

the best way to make money off your site would be through affiliate ads i chose to go through google adsense it is a good way to make money if you are willing to put some time into it ...what adsence is...google will place ads on your site or blog and you will make money everytime someone clicks that add .. you can customize your adds to make them more appealing and you can also place target adds that have realations to your blog or site topic. if you have a blogger site it is very simple to appy you just go to the montize tab and you will see it from there click the adsencs tab there and follow the easy instuctions to appy if you have any problem finding this you can just type sadsence into google and it will be the first thing to come up! there are some other affiliate sites you can sign up for but i suggest you use adsense first it is very easy.. also through blogger you can sign up to be a amazon affiliate , what this means is that you will advertize amazon products through your site or blog and for everything you sell you will make a commission on TIP. make sure you chose products that have rellavince to your site/blog topic i will leave you with this for now have fun and good luck i will keep posting more once you have caught up to this stage thanks!  the revenue man

The basics

First you are going to need a startring point so i will give you one... im hoping you already have a blog or website that you have started ..if not you should probably do that first :$ ..duhh! okay so you have your blog and if your new at the whole blogging thing your going to have to attract some traffic.. the best way i found is to create social network accounts under your blog name ex. if your blog is about football rules then you would open a twitter called "football rules blog" .. and on that twitter acount you would find everyone that has similar intrest by typing keywords into the search like "football fans" or different football teams... FOLLOW EVERYONE! then when you post something everyone related to that topic will see it! ..sneaky i know... p.s in every tweet or every facebook update you make inclued the url to your blog! twwt often and you will be sure to get some biters! illl end it at that so once you get to the end of that step check out my next post for futher instructions dummies
